Downtown Pizazz

I cannot believe how fast time is flying. It has been a year ago since I was lucky enough to shoot the wedding of Heather and David. Their wedding was so special to me because not only is Heather one of my good friends from Metro, but she also has worked as my second shooter for many weddings.

These two people are amazing together. They make such a great team and David’s (aka Daaavie) calm presence blends beautifully with Heather’s … um … randomcrazyspazyinsanealwaysgoingamillionmilesaminute personality.

During our portrait hour we hopped over to Room&Board in Cherry Creek and bounced around the furniture.
Happy One Year to two amazing people. I am so honored I was there to capture your wedding day!

A Princess and a Cowboy

Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of two amazingly sweet people! I am fortunate enough to have gotten to know them over the last few years, as well as their family. Tammy and Paul are so amazing and giving to everyone around them I am honored that I got to photograph their wedding celebration last summer! And by the end of next month, they will be grandparents to two brand new babies in their family.

The amazing Taylor Family, so many great people!

The soon to be parents of Will (due SOON!)

The Proud Parents of Kathleen

I guess you had to be there …

Today Sarah and Chris are celebrating their one-year anniversary!

These two are so adorable. Just a wonderful couple that really support one another. I really enjoy Facebook as a business owner because I am able to keep in contact with my clients from the past and its always great to hear how they are doing. These two are solid.

They got married at Meadow Creek in Pine. The day was so beautiful and the meadow was lush and green. The crew was great – Something about dollar bills and Vegas (I still don’t know what exactly that was about and I am ok with it) kept them entertained the whole day. Ok, I still see comments about Dollar bills on Facebook.

Congratulations to Chris and Sarah for the first year in your life-long journey keep on dancing!!!

And the Thunder Rolled

Tara and Paul recently had their one year wedding anniversary! Congratulations to these two! Now. Their wedding was quite memorable as it started out like any June day in Colorado. It was beautiful and sunny. They had their wedding at the Crystal Rose venue in Highlands Ranch. We went outside to have group photos before hand and everything was going just to plan. Paul and his boy’s were having a blast jumping over fences, and the girls were all chatting in the dressing room.

5 minutes before the ceremony was going to start (Bridal party was getting lined up to go out side) and a HUGE – I’m talking HUGE clap of thunder erupts overhead. And then the power went out. (Like I said, typical June day in Colorado). But the generators kicked in and the staff at the Crystal Rose did a speedy turn-around and in less than 10 minutes we were ready for the ceremony – now inside. It was great, and as always, the storm passed and we were able to do more portraits outside right after the ceremony, with the beautiful “after-the-rain light.”

The night continued with an awesome  slide show of embarrassing photos, cake cutting, and some crazy dancing. What a fun time that night was! Truly an unforgettable event! Congrats you two on a year of marriage!

And all that Jazz

Time flies by so quickly! It amazes me that it has already been a year since the epic cake-smashing even of Dominic and Shannon’s wedding! I love going back through photos of past weddings, and theirs was a beautiful one. They got married on CU’s campus. It was a beautiful day, with a few sprinkles but the light was amazing and Shannon came prepared with an adorable umbrella. I loved her dress and of course Dominic’s shoes topped it all off.

Happy first anniversary to you guys!

Adventure of love, cooking and Gypsies

Happy Anniversary to Kristi and Zac!

These two have had quite the adventure since they tied the knot last May Day! I’ve been fortunate to hang out with them several times over the last year both in Colorado and in Georgia where they now live. Kristi has continued in her passion for cooking (check out her blog Home Sweet Georgia) and Zac is following his dream as sports editor for a paper in Windsor county outside of Athens, GA. The most exciting part?  I will get to see them even more this year as they will soon be welcoming the newest addition to their family in September! Baby shower and Maternity shots will be happening this summer!!!!

Happy first year of married adventures to two of my good friends!!

One Year of adventure!

A year ago I was one lucky photographer and friend who got to document the wedding of Chris and Adriana. That was a fun, but slightly chilly day in Pueblo. We might have frozen the bridal party during the group photos … maybe. 😉

Happy Anniversary to Chris and Adriana!

So excited to be married!

Boys walking like the Beatles on the way to the ceremony from the hotel.

Adriana’s sister watching her closely. She was one happy flower girl!

Opening prayer for the ceremony.

Taking some down time on the couch … In the bathroom.

Can you say an awesome bridal party? Too much fun was had … even though they were freezing!

This is still the best Father-Daughter dance I’ve seen. Coordinated and everything!

Happy Anniversary to you two Beautiful people. Thank you for letting me capture these moments.

Chris and Adriana are also now the proud parents of little Leila. They have such a beautiful family and I’m so happy I’ve been able to follow them a long over this last year.

And one from Adriana’s Maternity Shoot. Had to include Little Leila too!
